MPHS is committed to ensuring the well-being of residents in Hulu Selangor is achieved and provides a sustainable environment for all. To ensure that the planned program is not only one-way, the MPHS introduced this Special Sustainable Community Grant as an 'entry point' for green and sustainable programs from the community.
The main goal of this program is to increase the awareness and understanding of the community about the importance of environmental care in addition to encouraging the use of green technology in everyday life.
With this grant, little can help the community in implementing programs or projects through the provision provided to improve the quality of life and the environment. At the same time, it is also to encourage the community to adopt a low-carbon lifestyle that is in line with the Smart Sustainable Hulu Selangor, Safe City and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda.
For the Green Technology category, a total of 8 entries were received consisting of 3 communities, 4 Educational Institutions and 1 Religious Institution. While for the Environment category, a total of 22 entries were received, namely 10 communities, 11 Educational Institutions and 1 Religious Institution. In this regard, only 21 entries were approved based on sustainable environmental criteria. Congratulations to those who have succeeded.
