An Engagement Session on the Development of Hulu Selangor District between the Deputy Secretary of the Selangor State Government (Development) together with the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) was held at the Headquarters, MPHS On 15 June 2022.
The session was chaired by Dr. Nor Fuad Abdul Hamid, Selangor Deputy Government Secretary (Development) concurrently Director of the State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN) attended by Tuan Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd, Chairman of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council, Tuan Mohamad Hanafe Basri, Hulu Selangor District and Land Officer and officials officers of the Selangor State Government Office and Head of Department of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council. Also present with agencies from the Department of Irrigation and Drainage, the Department of Public Works and the Department of Town and Country Planning.
This engagement session was held to obtain input and listen to the development plans and direction of the Local Authority (PBT) to assist the Selangor State Government in drafting the First Selangor Plan (RS-1) 2021-2025 before its launch which will be made during the State Assembly Session which will start on July 25, 2022.
MPHS is the 10th PBT in this series of engagement session tours. In this session, MPHS also presented several suggestions and development issues in Hulu Selangor District. The issues raised do not only focus on the council's field of work but also issues related to external agencies that are also involved in development in the Hulu Selangor District.
