The Selangor State Government's formula aid package tackles the pandemic challenge
SHAH ALAM, JULY 8: The State Government's initiative created various aid packages as a formula to help the people face the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dato' Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said the move by the government is an important pulse towards the recovery of the state when faced with various crises.
"Various packages have been introduced since last year such as Selangor Prihatin, the Economic Recovery program and the latest Our Selangor Package, all of which are planned to cost more than RM1 billion.
"We want to let you know that the State Government has several formulas to solve the pandemic in addition to supporting the economic sector continuously," he said in the Ruang Bicara program live on Bernama TV's Facebook last night.
â€In March last year, the Selangor Government announced the Selangor Prihatin economic stimulus package worth RM127.78 million followed by the second phase on April 1 worth RM272 million.
A recovery plan with an economic value of RM55.8 billion was presented on July 13, followed by the Kita Selangor Package amounting to RM73.8 million on January 20 this year.
On June 9, the State Government once again announced the Kita Selangor 2.0 Package worth RM551.56 million which targets low-income groups, entrepreneurs, students and tourism activists.
