HULU SELANGOR – The Hulu Selangor District Council (MDHS) received the Quality Environmental Practices (5S) Certification from the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) with the award of three stars.
Its chairman, Dr Mohd Azhar Mohamed Ali said, MDHS continues to commit to implementing 5S practices by creating a conducive, safe, cheerful and tidy work environment to create a quality work culture even with the constraints of Covid-19.
He said, the implementation of 5S practices at MDHS can not only improve the quality of services, save costs and simplify the work process, but it also gives added value to the local authority (PBT) as a whole.
"This 5S practice will continue and improvements are always made to ensure that this success can continue in the future," he said in a statement on Friday.
Mohd Azhar said that he also congratulated the MDHS staff who gave full cooperation so that the PBT received the award.
Previously, MDHS was also awarded MS ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System without any non-conformity (NCR) by Sirim Qas International Sdn Bhd.
