In conjunction with World Landscape Architecture Month, which is celebrated every April, the MPHS Landscape Department held a briefing session for the participants who took part in the Kuala Kubu Bharu Square Landscape Design Competition. The briefing was conducted at Dataran Kuala Kubu Bharu.
The briefing was delivered by Assistant Landscape Architect, Mr. Mohd Noor Effendi B. Mohd Tahir. The briefing that was delivered aimed at explaining the design and conditions of the competition.
This briefing session was also attended by IPTA lecturers and students including from International Islamic University (UIA), Mara University of Technology (UITM), Sultan Idris University of Education (UPSI), Nilai Polytechnic and Rembau Vocational and Technical College.
It is hoped that all the participants of this design competition can provide commitment and interesting ideas and can be considered as a great contribution towards the development of the landscape beautification of the city of Kuala Kubu Bharu in line with the theme of the World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM) 2022 which is 'Landscape Resilience Towards Sustainability' Nature'.
