MPHS Acquires MS ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certification
The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council has successfully obtained the MS ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certificate. The second stage Auditing Session was held on 1 and 2 June 2023 at the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council Office.
Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a systematic and structured approach in information management. The objective of ISMS implemented is to manage and protect information security in accordance with the needs and expectations of stakeholders. It emphasizes the concept or principle of information security, which is the preservation of confidentiality, integrity and availability.
The Audit Opening and Closing Sessions were chaired by the MPHS Deputy President and ISMS Project Chairman, YBrs. Mr. Awaluddin Zakaria, AMS Also present Mr. Shaiful Rizza bin Haji Piamin, MPHS Deputy Secretary, Mr. Mohamad Ramdan bin Ibrahim, Head of Information Technology Division and ISMS Project Manager, Department Directors, Internal Audit and ISMS Committee Members.
The audit which was carried out for two days was led by Mrs. Efizan binti Zamri as SIRIM's Head of Audit and assisted by Mrs. Sazlin binti Alias ​​and Mr. Azran bin Mohammad Ridzuan who is also SIRIM's Auditor. In the audit session conducted, only 1 Minor NCR was recorded. Well done and congratulations to all members of MPHS, especially the Information Technology Division who are involved in ensuring that audit requirements can be met. MPHS always ensures that an excellent work culture continues to be prioritized and implemented.
