HULU SELANGOR - The Hulu Selangor District Council (MDHS) is opening Ramadan Bazaar applications online on the MDHS portal starting this Monday until next March 28.
The Corporate Division of MDHS announced in a statement that a total of 790 plots were offered at 10 Ramadan Bazaar locations in areas under the supervision of MDHS this year.
"It includes the JRD hawker site, Liga Mas Batang Kali (140 plots);Â Taman Seri Morning Market site, Batang Kali (70 plots);Â Cempaka Park, Serendah (50 plots);Â next to Medan Selera Sungai Buaya (40 parcels);Â Pasar Malam site, Bukit Sentosa (200 plots) and Jalan Seroja, Bukit Sentosa (100 plots).
"A total of 40 more plots are offered at the Ramadan Bazaar, Jalan Telipot, Bukit Sentosa;Â Between Gapi, Serendah (60 plots);Â Jalan Samudera 1, Hulu Bernam (40 plots) and Jalan Kantan, Bukit Beruntung (50 plots)," he said.
MDHS informed that, since the country is still struggling to fight the Covid-19 epidemic, several standard operating procedures (SOP) must be followed by all traders and a business rotation system will be implemented.
According to him, traders who get an odd lot number site will do business on odd dates in the month of Ramadan while traders who get an even lot number site do the opposite.
"Application priority will be open to local residents of Hulu Selangor and each trader is allowed to apply for only one plot per application.
"Information to successful applicants on April 2 through a short message service (SMS)," he said.
Any further information regarding the matter can be made by browsing the MDHS portal at www.mdhs.gov.my or contacting the MDHS Licensing Department at 03-60641331 (extension 131/132/159).
