This administration has referred to the State Legal Adviser who in principle states that at this time:
Matters regarding the operation of the manufacturing and manufacturing sector, including all regulations involving operating premises for the purpose of controlling COVID-19 are subject to Act 342 and any instructions and general Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the PKP/PKPB/PKPD set by the National Security Council ( MKN).
Therefore, for the purposes of Act 342:
The Local Authority does not have jurisdiction to either revoke, terminate or withdraw the license or permission arbitrarily against any factory in the state of Selangor.
